Succubus Comes Home by Lucy Felthouse
Picture the Succubus.. Sexy, Confident, Wild, Passionate, Vunerable? Wait a minute, check that. Here we have Lucy Felthouse taking the stereotype and throwing it out the window, giving her character a real depth I found refreshing and endearing and it really gave this story that added something extra that makes reading a Felthouse a real joy.
Anthony is sculpted and toned and maybe that little bit too perfect and maybe that hints at the mystery ahead but the tale is paced nicely and never pulls you away from the steamy scenes that lay ahead. Lucy’s Succubi certainly brings the full heat of hell with her as the sex here sizzles with a real raw passion, and the
Things move along quickly and the twists and turns that keep you engrossed are rewarding and sweet. Love always finds a way and Lucy does a wonderful job of expressing that with these two entertaining characters.
A Short and Very Sweet Love Story with a Twist, Rewarding Reading that’ll leave your feeling warm and mushy.
Love Through Time by Lucy Felthouse
I share Lucy’s love of the Grand Stately Manor and their decadent libraries and have found myself captivated by many over the years, so many dusty tomes, so much history. Soft sumptuous chairs to snuggle down into with a favourite book, mmmm… heaven. Lucy gives her tale a rich, detailed feel and you are drawn in right from the start.
I do love how Lucy brings such life to her characters you can easily picture the sprightly Mrs. Thompson running the house with an almost military precision and order and it’s those little details that make any Lucy Felthouse tale a joy to read. Little touches like the smile when relaying the history of the place give the characters an extra dimension and are one of the reasons I hold Lucy Felthouse in such high regard.
I really connected with Emily and her love of her work, her passionate and methodical nature really shone through. Her kind, tender ways and runaway mind really made the reading of this tale a joy. I giggled aloud at her berating a Photograph for interrupting her, and it’s those little touches that make for such a fun tale. Her attraction to George is sweet and endearing but they say it’s the quiet ones you need to watch out for and she certainly proves that.
George is another well written character, kind and caring with the strong chiselled good looks that can turn a girls knees to jelly he could so easily have been one dimensional but Lucy gave him real depth and a dimple. His interest in the mystery of the Manor helped drive the story on and gave it a realism that can so easily be lacking in a story of this kind.
William the Ghost was a nice side story and was a sweet way of bringing the two characters closer together, Emily helping him find his way and giving him the happiness he so craved was a lovely touch and you can only hope that Emily and George will experience a love so lasting.
Love through Time was a slow burn but this tale cackles with sexual energy throughout and you cannot help but feel for the great characters, the scene setting is fantastic and the passion will have you squirming this is one I’m sure I’ll be re-reading time and time again.
One for the bookish babes who are tigers in the sack (and those men who adore them)
Artistic Sights, Heavenly Delights by Victoria Blisse
One thing I adore about Victoria Blisse is her ability to produce characters that you can really believe in, characters you root and feel for, characters that drive her stories and keep you eagerly reading to the end.
I will admit I have a hard spot (pardon the pun) for a plump and juicy arse just like Philip, and that’s another thing I love about Victoria Blisse she is not afraid to give her characters a bit of curve, real women with beautiful voluptuous bodies and I admire the courage to do that in the photoshopped world of erotica we live in now.
The Plot here has struggling artist paiting rich playboy and it works well, Hermione is no push over and Philip isn’t quite the oaf you expect him to be at the begining, I loved the fact that this tale is told from both viewpoints, showing the insecurities and passions of each as they develop throughout the tale. It’s a believable transition that makes for a light rewarding read.
The story features some light spanking, it all feels very natural and really added to the story giving it a kinkier almost voyueristic edge as you took in these very intimate games as she gives up control, reveling in the freeing experience. Sometimes these type of things can pull you out of a story as it can see really one sided and not about pleasure at all but here Victoria conveys a far more intimate scene.
I loved the line about Hermoine’s heart pounding like a bailiff’s knock on the door, it has to be the best way of conveying that emotion I’ve seen in erotica so far.
The sex is passionate, lust filled and fantastic things flow as the two finally accept what we the reader always knew was so and give the reward of a most delicious union that makes for some very pleasurable reading. The meddling and unapproving parents are well written, and as the couple haveto face all the odds against them it makes for a triumpant and Heartwarming story.
Beautifully Sweet and Charming right to the end this is one for the lovers and romantics.
